And of course it’s still relevant. The boy becomes the man. He didn’t turn anything around, he just got rich and has more to lose. Today if he blinded someone he’d have to pay millions. So he doesn’t commit crimes anymore.

He and his friends threw rocks at a bunch of black kids on a field trip. He broke a neighbor’s jaw. The same day he blinded that man, he also attacked another Vietnamese man (screaming racial slurs) and hit him so hard with a pole that he knocked him unconscious. And apparently he used to like to beat up elderly black women.
