By djank On July 6, 2010 Under General

For more info – www.eagle-rock.com British rock legends Procol Harum are captured here at their finest, in concert at London’s Union Chapel. It was the last night of a tour that had taken them from London through Europe, Japan and North America and back again to London and the band celebrated with a truly magical performance of the rarely heard full version of the immortal A Whiter Shade Of Pale. This performance is taken from the full length concert DVD “Live at the Union Chapel”, available from Eagle Vision now.

The 60’s will never be repeated again! I feel sorry for those who never lived during those turbulent, wonderful times. This song makes it feel as though it were yesterday…….

@yesSIZEmatters I believe the line “As the mirror told it’s tale” also indicates blow was involved.

@sasuke1788 I did see the site; that’s where I discovered ‘whiter shade of pale’ is a compliment. The rest was easy, and nothing I saw refutes my interpretation, which follows the words dead-on. (I’m speaking of the first verse, the only one I had room to expound on) Yes it does tell a story, all you have to do is listen; but it’s art, and you can draw another conclusion, no big deal…:)

@yesSIZEmatters That’s not even close. Go to their site and read what they have to say about them. The song for the most part is all over the place and doesn’t tell on particular story.
