In his 3-part oral history interview, entertainer Andy Williams discusses his early career working in his brothers¹ singing group on stage and in radio, before embarking on a solo career. He speaks about his early appearances on television, including being cast as a regular on Steve Allen¹s Tonight show. He then talks in detail about hosting his own series The Andy Williams Show. For this series he talked about the production schedule, some of his favorite guest stars (including the Osmond Brothers, whom he is created with discovering), and the show¹s segue into a series of Christmas specials. The Jerry Springer Show – ‘Aspiring Prostitutes & A Drunk’ [UK Edit] (Part 1/3)

Steve’s hosting today, and our first guest is the always-serious Shawn with a story to tell. Once upon a time, Shawn was pimping her 24-year old daughter Victoria out, because she wanted it. It’s OK though, she tells Steve, as she screens the clients. When she tells Steve that if Steve was her son, he would be pimping, but Steve retorts back by saying that if he was her son, he would lock her up. Bit of a paradox there, since he wouldn’t be able to lock people up as just a rent boy. But I digress. When Shawn reveals the reason she’s pimping her daughter out (NO SPOILERZ HERE!), you can hear the penny drop with the crowd.
